Glenwood Drive Gas Main Extension
In response to great customer interest, the existing high-pressure gas main will be extended from house #21 to house #109 on Glenwood Drive, and all of Zephyr Drive
Great River Bridge
Work in conjunction with the Great River Bridge Project will continue in 2010. The WG&E will install a new 10” gas main on the existing, to-be-restored bridge to replace the previously abandoned gas main.

The existing high-pressure mains on Broad Street and Court Street will be connected, and a new 10" high-pressure steel main will be installed along Elm Street from Broad Street to Thomas Street.
Electric Distribution System Construction Projects 2010
Great River Bridge
Work in conjunction with the Great River Bridge Project in 2010 includes installing a new conduit bank along the existing, to-be-restored bridge. This conduit will be used in the future to hold multiple electrical circuits. In addition, new manholes and conduit banks will be installed on North Elm Street and Elm Street as roadway improvements progress throughout the summer.
Route 20/10 & 202 Reconstruction (Main and Broad Street)
As part of the Downtown Revitalization Project, funded by Stimulus dollars, the overhead electric wires and poles on Main Street from the City Green to the Veteran’s Bridge will be completely replaced. On Broad Street, the existing streetlights will be removed and replaced with new units. In addition, the existing electric infrastructure around the City Green will be upgraded to accommodate the proposed design.
Holyoke Road Reconstruction
Portions of Holyoke Road will be reconstructed with larger poles and wire to improve reliability, and provide an additional connection point between circuits.
