Financial Assistance is Available.

WG&E customers who are facing financial hardship may be eligible to receive financial assistance with their utility bills. Click here to find out if you qualify for home heating assistance from Valley Opportunity Council Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). You may also contact the following organizations directly to determine if you qualify for their fuel assistance programs.

Salvation Army Good Neighbor Energy Fund - 568-1256
If you are slightly over the eligibility requirements for the Valley Opportunity Council LIHEAP program, please contact the Salvation Army at 568-1256 for guideline information on their Good Neighbor Energy program.

Westfield Warm Fund - 572-0100
Customers who qualify for LIHEAP or the Good Neighbor Energy program and continue to make monthly payments on their account may request further assistance from WG&E’s Westfield Warm Fund. For more information, please call our Business Office at 572-0100 or email apaton@wgeld.org

Citizens Energy/Distrigas Heat Assistance Program - 866-427-9918
Gas heat customers may apply for a $150 voucher from Citizens Energy/Distrigas towards their gas heat bill.
