AMR Program Overview

Starting in the spring of 2012, we will begin installation of upgraded electric meters that will enable Automated Meter Reading (AMR) for all Westfield Gas and Electric customers. These meters will eliminate the need for a reader to come to your home or business each month. Instead, your readings will be automatically transmitted to WG&E by our secure network. This process provides cost savings through efficiencies in labor and also allows us to generate your bill with the most current usage information. We’re always looking for better ways to serve the Westfield community and are excited about the benefits of these upgrades.
