Appliances that cost less to operate can also cost less to purchase

Through the Residential Conservation Services program, WG+E continues to offer customer rebates on qualifying Energy Star appliances. Appliance eligibility is based solely on the appliance list at www.energystar.gov. The WG+E appliance rebates include:

•  Clothes Washer $75
•  Refrigerator $75
•  Dishwasher $50
•  Room AC (EER rating of (10+) $50

Discounts on Energy Star lighting

As a WG+E customer, you are also eligible to purchase lighting products through the Energy Star Lights Catalog. Prices are subsidized by WG+E and other participating electric utility companies, so you pay less. You can view the Energy Star online lighting catalog right now.
