WG+E is kicking off its Natural Gas Safety Effectiveness Study in partnership with the Northeast Gas Association and Great Blue Research. The study will assess the effectiveness of our natural gas safety messaging across a variety of audiences. This is a brief survey, taking less than 10 minutes to complete and will officially launch Monday, April 7th, 2025.
Recipients of the survey will include WG+E residential and commercial customers, excavators, emergency officials, and local public officials. The collected data helps identify key indicators of the effectiveness of WG+E messaging and highlights areas for improvement.
“We value our customers’ feedback and strive to continuously improve our safety messages,” said Joe Mitchell, Assistant General Manager at WG+E. “This survey is a vital tool in ensuring that our messages about natural gas safety are clear, accessible, and impactful. We appreciate the participation of everyone involved and encourage all recipients to share their honest feedback.”
WG+E will reach out via email with a survey link and encourage customers to respond promptly. Customers may also receive a phone call or email from Great Blue Research and are encouraged to participate when contacted. This is an opportunity for individuals to have a direct impact on the safety practices in their communities to ensure effective communication moving forward.
